Lindsay Lohan has once again had a brush with the law over her driving. In New York recently she allegedly hit a pedestrian and fled the accident scene. At the time of the auto-pedestrian accident, she was attempting to park a 2010 Porsche Cayenne.

The victim voiced his concerns regarding being hit and sustained damage to his knee. He went to a medical facility for treatment.

Law enforcement personnel arrived at the scene and took her into custody after she received a ticket for leaving the scene of an accident. The courts scheduled a desk appearance for her and then released her. Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor in the accident. Two passengers were with her in the Porsche, which is not hers, when the alleged hit-and-run occurred.

The incident occurs a few months after the actress wrecked a car on the Pacific Coast Highway while driving to a movie set. Lohan's well-publicized traffic accidents have led to several police investigations but no serious injuries to date.
Whether clients suffer injuries or property damage in an accident, they often need a personal injury lawyer who knows how to navigate the legal system and can negotiate for a favorable settlement possible for clients. Insurance companies might not want to battle out financial matters in court with an attorney who can advocate for the rights of clients. Lawyers review any settlement the insurance company offers before accepting monies on behalf of those they represent.
